Steve Lavine

Hello, I'm a web developer based in London. Currently I am working as Head of Digital at Minimart, an Advertising agency in Soho.

I will be available for freelance work from the 30th June 2016.

I have been building websites since 1997 and have worked with numerous clients such as: Chelsea FC, The National Theatre, Rimmel, Playboy Fragrances, Leave.EU to name a few.

My career has taken me from the south coast of England, to Los Angeles and to London.

Brief:
The Minimart was to build a website for the Leave.EU campaign group. The website was to provide information, news and media, donations, local groups and a online shop
Description:
The website was built upon a bespoke Content Management System written by myself using Zend Framework 2. As the lead developer on the project it was my responsibility to ensure the project was scoped correctly, all work completed to a high standard, and tested on multiple platforms.

The Minimart was to build a website for a sexual health charity for young people. The website was to provide information, advice, donations, local groups and a online shop
Description:
The website was built upon the ExpressionEngine Content Management System. As the sole developer on the project I used the Bootstrap CSS framework as a basis of the site. All the animations are bespoke CSS and JavaScript.

Description:
The website was built using Zend Framework 2 and utilises a "one-page" layout.

Neoco was to build a fully functional website to showcase upcoming and current plays being broadcast via local cinemas.
Description:
The website was built using Zend Framework 2 using a MongoDB database. The website utilises HTML Geolocation to filter the venues based on the user's location

Brief:
To update an existing e-commerce website from a Perl based system to a bespoke PHP platform.
Description:
Originally (in 2006/7) I was tasked to build a new e-commerce platform. The website was migrated over to the Magento platform in 2013. I now provide ongoing support and server maintenance.
